How signing in works
Find your school
Type your school’s name, town or postcode. POKYH finds every school that uses WebUntis.
Sign in with WebUntis
Username and password are the same as for WebUntis. Your password only goes to your school’s WebUntis server.
Done
Timetable, grades and messages are there right away. POKYH remembers your school until the end of the school year.
What you see from WebUntis
Everything your WebUntis account may show, just tidier. Which areas exist is up to your school.
Timetable and substitutions
Day and week view, room and teacher. Cancellations, substitutions and extra lessons stand out right away.
Exams and homework
Tests and homework sit right next to the lesson they belong to.
Grades with averages
All grades by subject, the average is calculated automatically. The grade calculator shows what a next grade would change.
Absences in hours and percent
How many hours you missed, month by month, excused and open, plus the share of your lesson time in percent. Calculated from your timetable; your school’s records remain authoritative.
Messages
Read WebUntis messages and reply to teachers, open attachments, in a tidy inbox.
Extra from POKYH
Personal to-dos, reminders for the whole class, dark mode and, where your school has one, the cafeteria menu.
For students and parents
Students see their day, grades and absences on the phone, in the browser or as a web app.
Parents sign in with their WebUntis parent access and see their child’s data, as far as the school allows.
For every school on WebUntis
Middle school, grammar school, technical or vocational school: POKYH works with every school that uses WebUntis, in Italy and South Tyrol, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the rest of Europe. The site is in English, German and Italian.
Questions about POKYH and WebUntis
Is POKYH the official WebUntis app?
No. The official app of Untis GmbH is called Untis Mobile. POKYH is an independent project that uses your WebUntis account and shows the data in its own interface.
Do I need a new account?
No. You sign in with your existing WebUntis username and password. You get your account from your school, as before.
Is signing in safe?
Your password only goes, encrypted, to your school’s WebUntis server and is not stored on POKYH servers. The WebUntis session is kept encrypted in a cookie that browser scripts cannot read.
I cannot find my school. What now?
Search by town or postcode instead of the name. If you still cannot find it, your school may use WebUntis under a different name; ask the school office for the WebUntis school name.
Are grades and absences in POKYH binding?
The data comes straight from WebUntis. Averages, missed hours and percentages are calculated by POKYH as a help; your school’s records are always authoritative.
What does POKYH cost?
Nothing. POKYH is free, ad-free and open source.
POKYH is an independent project and is not affiliated with Untis GmbH. WebUntis, Untis and Untis Mobile are trademarks of Untis GmbH.
